To ask the Scottish Government what plans it has to review the strategic focus of Scottish Enterprise and its three missions.

The answer

As our national development agency, Scottish Enterprise is responsible for delivering the Scottish Government’s economic development priorities as set out by ministers.Scottish Enterprise’s strategic plan sets out how it is aligning its resources to three clearly defined missions that support the Scottish Government’s economic objectives. Its operating plan, which is updated annually, outline show it will deliver on these missions.The Scottish Government works closely with Scottish Enterprise to ensure the missions and operating plan are fully aligned with our policies and priorities.
