That the Parliament congratulates The Illusionist on receiving an Oscar nomination in the Best Animated Feature Film category at the 83rd Academy Awards; recognises that the movie was created in an Edinburgh film studio set up in 2004; appreciates the boost to tourism that the film will bring due to it being set in Edinburgh; welcomes the publicity that it gave to Edinburgh as the opening feature at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2010; appreciates the encouragement that this nomination will give to those in the film industry in Scotland, and hopes that it emerges victorious at the ceremony, scheduled to be held on 27 February 2011.
