That the Parliament welcomes the announcement that the local team from Asda Dunbar has given a grant of £1,000 to the Pennypit Community Development Trust in Prestonpans and one of £500 to Dunbar Dementia Network SCIO, as part of the company’s support for community groups during the festive period; understands that, throughout this period, the Asda Foundation is supporting more than 700 groups across the UK, which have been nominated by its dedicated Community Champions, with more than £600,000 in Grassroots Grants, and commends Asda staff and Community Champions on their important contribution to supporting local groups and communities.
