That the Parliament condemns the reported decision of the Scottish National Party (SNP)/Liberal Democrat Aberdeen City Council administration to re-impose the bus gate right turn onto Rosemount Viaduct; laments that the administration has voted against what it sees as the interests of Aberdonians at every turn throughout what it considers to be the shameful bus gate debacle; agrees with the reported comments of the former SNP council leader that “this is an absolute shambles”; understands that an overwhelming number of businesses remain concerned and steadfastly against what it considers are more confusing and disruptive traffic measures around Union Street, and encourages decision making based on common sense at Aberdeen City Council.
