That the Parliament welcomes funding awarded by the National Lottery Community Fund to organisations in Glasgow; understands that the National Lottery Community Fund distributes funding on behalf of National Lottery players who raise more than £30 million each week for good causes throughout the UK; believes that over eight in 10 (84%) of National Lottery Community Fund grants are for under £10,000, going to grassroots groups and charities across the UK that are bringing to life amazing ideas that matter to their communities, and notes that 109 groups in Glasgow have recently been successful in securing National Lottery funding, with a total of £4,812,422 awarded across the region.
