To ask the Scottish Government when it will publish the 2024 report to the Parliament on the Marine Protected Area network, in line with its requirements under the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010.

The answer

The Scottish Marine Protected Area (MPA) Network Report to Parliament 2024 was laid in Parliament on 19 December 2024 (reference SG/2024/306), meeting the requirements of the Marine (Scotland) Act 2010 and the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009.The report has also been published online: Marine Protected Area Network - 2024 Report to the Scottish Parliament.
