That the Parliament congratulates Girvan teacher, Gareth Rae, on winning the Cyber Security Educator category and Champion of Champions award at the Scottish Cyber Awards 2022; notes that the awards were held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Edinburgh in November 2022; acknowledges that the awards are to recognise those who go above and beyond making a positive impact in the cyber security sector; notes that Gareth is the principal teacher of computing science and business at South Ayrshire’s Girvan Academy; understands that he is very passionate about the sector and his role at the school, sharing his knowledge with pupils he hopes to play a key role in the industry, and wishes Gareth the very best with his future endeavours.
