That the Parliament congratulates the Westhill and District Men’s Shed (WDMS) for being voted Scottish Men’s Shed of the year in 2021, in recognition of its contribution to and impact on the local community; understands that this is the second prestigious accolade of its kind for WDMS as it also received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service for its work during the COVID-19 pandemic; understands that WDMS was the first-ever Men’s Shed in Scotland, set up in 2013, and that it now welcomes over 300 members, and thanks everyone involved for their continued work and support in the local community.
