That the Parliament recognises Motherwell and Newmains Asda's Green Token Giving projects for supporting local organisations in the area; understands that one of the ways in which Asda supports local organisations and charities is through the Asda Foundation, a charitable company that provides grants to a range of good causes in Scotland; believes that this includes hundreds of new groups that have been established to help deal with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic; understands that the Asda Foundation offers several different funding streams for local community projects, large and small, including the Green Token Giving programme, which has now moved online, and gives customers the chance to vote for projects that matter most to them; congratulates Lanarkshire Deaf Club SCIO, The Miracle Foundation and Befriend Motherwell, Newmains & District Gala Day, Shotts Development Brass Band, St Thomas' Nursery PTFA, You Are My Sunshine, Utheo Limited, Jack and Jill Support Group, St Brigid's Primary School PTA, Live Well Foodbank Newmains, Orchard Primary School PTA, Firpark Primary School Parent Council, Befriend Motherwell and Wishaw, The King Church, Braidhurst High School PTA, The Miracle Founcation and 7th Wishaw Rainbows & Brownies on receiving monetary awards through the programme, and wishes them all the best for the future.
