That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the continued commitment by ASDA to make the communities around its stores better places to live and work for staff and customers; understands that the ASDA Foundation offers several different funding streams for local community projects both large and small; recognises that this includes the Green Token Giving programme, which has moved online as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and provides customers of ASDA the opportunity to vote for the projects that matter most to them; understands that each project is nominated by individuals and communities, with ASDA giving back to the local communities; further understands that there has been two rounds of voting at the ADSA Dyce and ASDA Middleton Park stores, which are both in the Donside constituency, with a number of local projects benefitting from the funding received; understands that local projects such as EncourAGE Dyce, Dyce and District Friendship Club, Bridge of Don and Danestone First Responder Service, Printfield Community Project, Dyce Primary School PTA, Mastrick Community Centre Foodbank, Glashieburn School PTA have benefitted, and further understands that projects such as Grampian MS Therapy Centre, The Living Well Project Instant Neighbour Aberdeen, Abernecessities and MISS, which aim to help and support individuals across Aberdeen City, will also benefit from the funding.
