That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the exceptional work carried out by Neena Mahal MBE in her role as Chair of NHS Lanarkshire’s Board of Directors for the last eight years; commends her for the commitment it believes she has shown to ensuring that health care within the area is maintained at a high level and to securing a replacement for University Hospital Monklands in the Airdrie area; applauds what it sees as her willingness to interact with elected members across the spectrum on all health board issues, and wishes her a happy and enjoyable retirement from the NHS Lanarkshire Board.
