That the Parliament commends what it sees as the extraordinary efforts of the local community in Ladysbridge and Boyndie in offering support to neighbours in need, who were often without electricity or running water in the aftermath of Storm Arwen; applauds those who helped in whatever way they were able, offering food and hot drinks and, in some cases, opening their properties to people in need; believes that this exemplifies true grit and selfless community spirit; recognises, in particular, the efforts of Boyndie Visitor Centre which, it understands, helped ensure that residents of Ladysbridge and Boyndie received a hot meal, a friendly welcome and somewhere to stay during this challenging time, and wishes everyone at the Boyndie Visitor Centre success in their future endeavours.

Possible final motion text as originally lodged

No carried amendments applied

This is a computer’s best guess at applying carried amendments to the original motion text. It uses simple text rules for phrases such as “insert at end”, “after X insert Y”, and “leave out from X to end and insert Y”. Treat it as an aid, not the official motion text.
