Fierce Beer Smashes Crowdfunding Targets in under 72 Hours

That the Parliament congratulates Dyce-based company, Fierce Beer, on reaching its recent crowdfunding targets; understands that this fundraising effort will help to establish a new brewery premises for its business, which will more than double the size of its current brewery, increase production and allow for the opening of an onsite shop and taproom; further understands that the company has successfully crowdfunded on three occasions, including during the Covid-19 pandemic, with the most recent crowdfunding being backed by 1486 people; understands that the company had initially set its crowdfunding target at £100,000 to be raised during December 2021, but that after surpassing this in less than 24 hours, successfully met its stretch goal of £150,000 in under 72 hours; notes that Fierce Beer has received a number of awards, including Breakthrough Brewery in 2017; understands that it is the most awarded Scottish brewer for the past three years, and wishes the company all the best for the future.
