That the Parliament welcomes the recent announcement by ASDA that all emergency and social care workers are being offered a Blue Light Card; understands that this card will allow emergency and social care workers to receive 10% off their shopping throughout the Christmas period; further understands that this discount will be available in all ASDA stores, including 61 stores in Scotland; notes that the discount is available from 6 December 2021 to 2 January 2022, and acknowledges that the Blue Light Card is a nationally recognised scheme, which provides workers in the NHS, emergency services, social care sector and the armed forces with a range of discounts.
