That the Parliament congratulates Sandy Keith on being nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award at Aberdeen’s Sports Awards 2022, which will take place in January; understands that volunteer hockey coach, Sandy, has been behind the growth of Granite City Wanderers since its establishment in 2003, which currently has up to 200 members with teams competing in the national leagues in Scotland; applauds the work that Sandy is doing for hockey in Aberdeen, including helping to teach principles and responsibilities through sport; understands that Sandy’s current project is advocating club sponsorship to secure better training facilities, and wishes Sandy and Granite City Wanderers all the best for the future.
