That the Parliament congratulates the University of Aberdeen Soil Science Centre on receiving The Queen’s Anniversary Prize, which is granted by Her Majesty The Queen; understands that this was awarded to the University for its work in actively participating in the COP26 Climate Summit in Glasgow, and its research on the promotion of the control of greenhouse gas emissions and sustainable food production, to contribute to action to tackle climate change; applauds what it sees as this fantastic achievement, celebrating outstanding research by the Soil Science Centre in tackling climate change, and hopes that this great work can continue into the future.
