Wrap Up Lanarkshire Campaign Brings Warmth to Vulnerable Communities Across Scotland

That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the outstanding work of the Rotary Clubs of Lanarkshire which, in partnership with Hamilton Academical Football Club, successfully launched the Wrap Up Lanarkshire Campaign; understands that volunteers have begun distributing over 1,600 good quality pre-loved and brand new winter coats to bring warmth to some of the most vulnerable people across the country, including through homeless shelters, refugee centres, children’s centres, organisations that support the elderly, and other charities, and believes that, by working with small charities and organisations, the campaign engages with those best placed to identify who will benefit most from the coats, demonstrating the power of working together as a community.
