That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen’s Yorokobi by CJ on winning Japanese Restaurant of the Year at the inaugural Scottish Asian Food Awards 2018; understands that the ceremony attracted some of the country’s most well-known and accomplished members of the industry to Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel for the announcement of the winners; considers that Yorokobi by CJ serves top-quality authentic Japanese cuisine, earning a dedicated following of many local customers; acknowledges that those also shortlisted in the category were Koku Shi (Central Scotland), Wudon (South West), and Maki Ramen (South East); believes that the Scottish Asian Food Awards play a significant role in highlighting the importance of small businesses, not just to the local economy, but to the wider Scottish and UK economies, and wishes Yorokobi by CJ every success for the future.
