That the Parliament celebrates the initiative of Morrison’s in Dumbarton to provide young people in the area with free fruit in order to ensure that more young people eat their five-a day; understands that the supermarket plans on handing out around 40,000 pieces of fruit as part of the programme; considers that, through providing local young people with this fruit, it will not only be beneficial to their health but will help to reduce the amount of waste produced by a supermarket of its size, and encourages local families and young people to take full advantage of the scheme in order to improve their health and wellbeing.
