NHS Orkney Wins MoD Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award

That the Parliament congratulates NHS Orkney on being awarded a 2018 Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award by the Ministry of Defence, for its work with the armed forces; understands that this award was in recognition of the health board’s continued support of the armed forces; notes that this followed its silver award last year, which also recognised its commitment to the integration of ex-service men and women by opening doors to alternative careers; further notes that NHS Orkney was among 50 recipients of the award, who have all demonstrated a thorough commitment to military personnel in the UK; commends the work done by all recipients of this award, and thanks them for their dedication.
