That the Parliament acknowledges of the success of West Lothian-based sportspeople at this year’s sportscotland Scottish Sports Awards ceremony; notes that Team United, a football team from Broxburn, was named Local Team of the Year for offering opportunities in football to young autistic people; further acknowledges Shelley Kerr, from West Lothian, for winning Coach/Manager of the Year for her endless commitment to football and for guiding Scotland’s Women’s team into the World Cup, which will take place in June 2019; recognises that West Lothian is home to many committed and talented sportspeople, and congratulates the award winners on their success.
