To ask the Scottish Government what steps it is taking to ensure that ScotRail's property and facilities management function remains in-house.

The answer

It is not within the remit of Scottish Government to intervene or interfere on operational matters of a commercial business.
However, ScotRail has confirmed it not planning nor actively looking to outsource the Property and Facilities management function.
