That the Parliament congratulates the Barrhead community on the town winning the 2015 Surf Award for Best Practice in Community Regeneration; notes that it was judged as the most improved in the small/medium town category; believes that everyone in the community has worked extremely hard, with the town centre benefitting from £100 million regeneration; notes the investment in the town, which includes the Barrhead Foundry, which is a multi-purpose learning, leisure and business centre, new council offices, a health and care centre and a town centre supermarket; looks forward to what it hopes will be continued improvement, with plans for the further development of retail, business and leisure projects, a new residential area and an upgraded railway station, and wishes Barrhead and its people well for the future.
No division on record. Either the chamber agreed this motion without a vote, it was withdrawn before debate, or it predates 2011 — vote-by-vote records only run from then.

Possible final motion text as originally lodged

No carried amendments applied

This is a computer’s best guess at applying carried amendments to the original motion text. It uses simple text rules for phrases such as “insert at end”, “after X insert Y”, and “leave out from X to end and insert Y”. Treat it as an aid, not the official motion text.
