That the Parliament congratulates the Fersands and Fountain Community Project in Aberdeen on securing a £9,993 Awards for All grant from the Big Lottery Fund; notes that Awards for All Scotland gives groups the chance to apply for a grant for projects that aim to help improve local communities and the lives of people most in need; understands that the group will use the funding to provide activities and a residential break for local young people; considers that the project is a voluntary organisation and charity run by a management committee of local residents who help to deliver a range of invaluable services in the community with the aim of increasing opportunity, improving living standards and lessening the effects of poverty in the areas that it serves, and praises what it sees as the invaluable hard work and commitment of those volunteers involved in the project.
