That the Parliament commends Robert Gordon University and its principal, Ferdinand von Prondzynski, for the decision to revoke Donald Trump’s honorary degree award because he has made a number of statements that are wholly incompatible with the ethos and values of the university; applauds the decision taken by the First Minister to withdraw Mr Trump’s membership of the GlobalScot business network because his recent remarks have shown that he is no longer fit to be a business ambassador for Scotland, and hopes that these decisions will show Mr Trump that his inflammatory language is an anathema in modern Scotland.
