That the Parliament commends the 31 Glasgow organisations that have received funding from Awards for All Scotland, receiving £236,292 in total; recognises that the organisations plan to use the money to engage the community to provide services that improve lives; notes that Awards for All Scotland gives out grants of between £500 and £10,000 to projects that bring communities together to enjoy a range of activities; understands that it is a partnership by sportscotland and Big Lottery Fund and supports 175 projects across Scotland, sharing over £1,334,000; believes that this recognition of these Glasgow organisations shows the city’s dedication to improving the lives of its citizens, and wishes the organisations success for the future.
