To ask the Scottish Government how (a) NHS boards and (b) patients are informed of the findings of inspections of dental practices.

The answer

NHS boards undertake the inspection of dental practices and are fully aware of the findings made at the time of inspection.
Dental practices inspected after 1 January 2013 must display confirmation from the NHS board that the practice inspection has been successfully completed.
