Douglas Ross’s amendment to the business motion seeks a statement from the Lord Advocate tomorrow on communications in relation to Mr Murrell’s case. However, as members know from the past half hour, the Lord Advocate has come to the Parliament today to answer the urgent question that Michael Marra lodged on that very subject. The urgent question process allowed that to happen, and 14 members with an interest in the subject had the opportunity to ask the Lord Advocate questions.
