Freedom of Information Reform (Scotland) Bill: Stage 1
You have described your approach to further powers to designate Scottish public authorities as proportionate. Respondents to our call for evidence and witnesses who have appeared before the committee have spoken about the pace of designation being slow. We have heard reflections from the Government on why that has been the case, but, overwhelmingly, the responses that we have had use language such as “glacial”.
