I would say yes to that. Again, we are seeing evidence of that at the moment. If you think about the rural and environment science and analytical services—RESAS—research priorities in the agricultural and natural sciences space, the Scottish, Environment, Food and Agriculture Research Institutes are coming to the Scottish Food Commission and asking, “How best can we engage and what do you see as priorities?” as they think about their next five years of research priorities beyond 2027.
That is about harnessing resources that are already committed in the direction of food system transformation in Scotland. I would expect to see more of that across the public sector.
