Dog Boarding Kennels (Fire Safety) (PE2058)
I think that the committee has gathered a useful body of evidence, and I hope that the petitioner is satisfied with the action that has been taken. Unfortunately, though, we now need to close the petition under rule 15.7 of the standing orders, on the basis that the Scottish Government is considering bringing animal boarding regulation under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (Scotland) Regulations 2021 and that, if such regulation is progressed, fire safety will be considered as part of that work.
