Mental Health and Wellbeing (Primary Care)
I am grateful for the minister’s assurances about his Government’s commitment to addressing the crisis in child and adolescent mental health care. However, he will be aware that the response to my party’s freedom of information requests, which we published during the Christmas period, shows that things are getting worse, not better—in fact, one young person had to wait seven years for first-line treatment. How does he expect to clear the waiting times for child and adolescent mental health services by next year, which is the Government’s ambition, when we are still going backwards?
