Meeting of the Parliament 19 November 2020
Last night, I was contacted by home care staff, a community nurse and two ward staff members, all of whom are in contact with Covid patients and all of whom told me that they had not been tested, eight months down the line—not even once. Given that shameful situation, what confidence can they have that they will be near the front of the queue when the vaccine comes? What is meant by front-line health and social care staff? Those people do not appear to be regarded as front-line staff just now. Finally, will designated family members be vaccinated to ensure that they can visit care homes?
