Meeting of the Parliament 20 February 2018
As Murdo Fraser knows fine well, all those matters—which we have debated in committee—were raised by the Scottish Government in the early days of the proposed changes to income tax policy. Such issues are in the gift of the UK Government. It has written to me and I have been able to share the resolutions to those issues with the Finance and Constitution Committee. However, I have had to wait for the UK Government to respond instead of its having given me early solutions. It has now responded positively—an outcome that I am sure Murdo Fraser and the whole chamber will welcome.
