Scotland’s Future, Democracy and Devolution
Of course not, but we have no involvement in the negotiations. What I am asking for is greater transparency and accountability. At present, we have to rely on the Deputy First Minister’s interpretation of whether the fiscal framework is fair for Scotland. We are caught between his interpretation and that of the Conservatives. I am arguing that everyone should be involved, that there should be transparency and that we should be able to make a proper judgment.
