Meeting of the Parliament 17 March 2015
The minister will be aware of the importance of structural funding to the region that I partly represent. At the back end of last year, there was some concern about decisions on how that funding will be distributed in the Highlands and Islands being centralised more to Edinburgh rather than being made, as has been the case in the past, by partners in the Highlands and Islands. Can the minister give an assurance that that will not be the case and that the decisions will be taken in the Highlands and Islands?
