I welcome this debate, which is timely given our rapidly increasing elderly population and the demands that the changing demographic will place on our health and community services. I pay tribute to the previous Administration for having had the foresight to launch the delivery framework for rehabilitation in 2007 and to the Government for its commitment to continuing the initial work for older people, people with long-term conditions and people who have been out of work and are seeking—
