Radioactive Substances Exemption (Scotland) Order 2011 (SSI 2011/147)
I note that the Government has responded to the Subordinate Legislation Committee, stating that the typographical errors in the draft Scottish statutory instrument can be dealt with by correction. I am sure that that judgment is based on sound legal advice. The clear intention of the regulations has been placed on the record. That and the committee’s acceptance that those are not serious drafting points mean that we do not need to make any recommendation.
