That does seem to speak to the desirability of our making some progress, albeit at this 11th hour of trying to reach agreement. I simply say to the Lord Advocate that for those of us who are non-experts—of which I freely admit I am one—there seemed to be a considerable degree of agreement among the stakeholders around the table that the bill was the right way to resolve the issue.I am struggling to understand how profound your anxieties are, and the ease with which we may be able to find a way forward.
