Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill: Stage 1
For clarity: one would not expect the medication to be put in the bill. Due to the need for legislative competence, it would be inappropriate to set that detail out in the bill. That detail will have to come in due course, but I assure Mr Mountain—and Dr Allan—that there is no indication that the medications that are used in places such as Australia and New Zealand have caused any problems whatsoever.
